No. Message ingestion is unlimited across all plans. Pricing is based on governance features, retention depth, automation, and organisational scale, not message count.
The Free plan is always free and never requires a credit card. It gives you full access to MessengerKit's features within its limits, so you can link a small number of groups and use the product for as long as you like. You can upgrade anytime you need more capacity.
Your Free plan is replaced by Solo Pro. You will have one active personal plan at a time. If your Solo Pro later expires, you return to Free (subject to current Free plan limits).
A Business plan applies to the organisation. Personal plans don't stack on top of an organisation plan. When you're acting as the organisation's Gatekeeper, the organisation plan becomes your effective plan.
Gatekeeper mode means you are representing an organisation in MessengerKit. In this mode, the organisation's plan governs what you can do for organisation-linked groups. Personal billing is disabled while in Gatekeeper mode.
No. Business features apply to groups that are linked to the organisation. Your personal groups continue to follow your personal plan (Free / Solo Pro).
Retention depends on your plan. The Free plan has a shorter search history, higher plans extend retention, and Enterprise plans support custom retention and deletion policies.
In hybrid mode, message data is stored in your infrastructure, while MessengerKit provides the control plane including alerts, automation, AI agents, and the management console.
